DC War Memorial Snowy Self Officiated Wedding Ceremony
The DC War Memorial is a popular location in DC for wedding ceremonies and elopements! It’s one of only 3 locations on the National Mall and National Park area that you can reserve for your wedding ceremony. (the only two locations are the George Mason Memorial or the West Lawn of the Jefferson Memorial) You can learn more about reserving this space for your wedding or elopement on the NPS website. For this wedding day in March there was heavy snow in the forecast! The snowy day was windy and extremely cold but it made for unique photos and a fun story!

Lake Arrowhead Luray Virginia Elopement
I traveled to Shenandoah near Luray, Virginia for this intimate elopement at Lake Arrowhead! The elopement was planned around sunset time to take advantage of the beautiful light and get some sunset photos after the wedding ceremony! Lake Arrowhead is a 39 acre park located in Page County by Luray, Virginia. The lake was constructed in 1971 by the USDA Soil Conservation Service as a flood control impoundment. The lake is owned by the Town of Luray and the Virginia Department of Game and Inland fisheries manages the fishery. Lake Arrowhead sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains offering a perfect view of the Page Valley. View more below from this elopement!

Strathmore Mansion Wedding in Rockville Maryland
Mansion At Strathmore is a historic wedding and event venue in Rockville, Maryland just outside of Washington DC! John & Matt had their wedding inside the mansion and we did portraits on the surrounding grounds! Te Georgian mansion makes for a beautiful backdrop as well as all the flowers and trees on the grounds! The venue can hold 100 guest seated or 200 guest standing!
