I photographed this wedding at Whittmore House in Washington, DC! The Whittmore house is a historic mansion near Dupont Circle in Washington, DC that can be rented for events and weddings. The mansion is filled with history and architectural beauty. The Stevenson room at the Whittemore House holds up to 240 guests and is adjacent to a charming outdoor patio and garden for your guests to enjoy. The entire mansion space is also available for guest and event space. The mansion was built as a private residence for opera singer Sarah Adams Whittemore in the 1890s. The Women’s National Democratic Club has occupied the mansion since 1927.

The brand new Pendry hotel at the Wharf in Washington, DC opened in 2023! This was the second wedding ever at the hotel! The signature Grand Ballroom has 2,700 square feet event space for 200 guests in a reception setting. Featuring Art Deco inspired interiors, abundant natural light and an adjacent outdoor pool terrace boasting an additional 2,000 square feet of space.
