Georgetown University Fall Engagement Session
When choosing an engagement session location it’s always a great idea to consider locations that have meaning to you as a couple! Perhaps a place where you first met, a frequent date location, the location where you first said “I love you”, or the surprise proposal location! For this engagement session I shot at Georgetown University where this couple first met. Earlier in the year I had captured the surprise proposal at the Georgetown Waterfront and I am excited to be capturing wedding day coming soon in New Jersey! Once wedding day comes it will be my third time photographing Bryan & Carla! It’s always an honor to work with a couple through the proposal to the engagement session and all the way to wedding day! Tabard Inn Wedding Ceremony in Washington DC
The Tabard Inn is a hotel and wedding/event venue perfect for smaller more intimate weddings! It can fit about 60 guest seated and 100 for standing room. The ceremony was hosted outside in their garden patio area surrounded by plants and beautiful decor. The second floor of The Tabard Inn has there private dinning and cocktail hour space with original decorative wood and marble fireplaces, oak floors, period furnishings, and walls adorned with a romantic flavor create an ambiance of elegance and charm.

Virtue Feed & Grain Wedding Alexandria Virginia
Prior to wedding day I photographed Tommy & Sean twice! Portraits were important to them and they wanted to enjoy wedding day with their friends and family. By doing portraits ahead of time we had more flexiblity and didn’t have to worry about rain on the wedding day or being rushed to meet a wedding day timeline! The ceremony and reception was held in the upstairs event space at Virtue Feed & Grain in Old Town Alexandria. Virtue Feed & Grain is a restaurant that is available for partial or full buyout for up to 300 guest for the full space. You can view the different options for their event space on their website.
