The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ+ equality.
Each year, the organization hosts its National Dinner which brings together more than 3,000 HRC members,
friends, family and allies for an evening of celebration and inspiration. The evening, which attracts the nation’s top figures in entertainment and politics, features a cocktail reception, silent auction, an elegant dinner, live
entertainment and thought-provoking speakers and guests. Marriott International is a long-standing partner and supporter of HRC and has activated at the National Dinner for many years. Marriott once again served as a sponsor the Federal Club Council Welcome Reception in conjunction with a larger corporate sponsorship. They hosted colleagues, customers, and strategic partners at the dinner. The Federal Club Council is HRC’s major donor giving program. Members of the council provide the leadership, vision and resources that are critical to HRC’s work and mission. Each year, before the National Dinner programming begins, a private, 1-hour, VIP welcome reception is held for members of the council and their guests. The reception space is then opened to all dinner attendees to experience prior to heading into the separate dinner space.
For this event we provided the event photography and photography for the photo op! Guest lined up for a photo and could instantly get a text message with a link to download their photo to post online immediately to share in the excitement!

Great Falls Park is an 800-acre National Park area along the Potomac River in Fairfax County, Virginia, about 15 miles from Washington, D.C. The views from the overlook make for an amazing location for a surprise proposal or engagement photos! From the Virginia side at overlook 3, I photographed this surprise proposal! There are three overlooks that give different views of the falls. Overlook 2 and 3 are more easily accessible; Overlook 1 is more rugged (wet/slippery rocks etc.) but gets you closer. Overlook 3 has the best view but is farthest from parking!

I photographed the forth annual Red Wine & Blues event for the Robert Irvine Foundation this year at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia! The Army Navy Country Club offers a stunning and versatile venue for banquets and events, blending timeless elegance with modern amenities. Located in a picturesque setting, it features spacious ballrooms and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces with a view of Washington, DC, making it ideal for this event! This one-of-a-kind 3-course dining experience is hosted by celebrity Chef Robert Irvine and presented by the Robert Irvine Foundation. The event is an exclusive, intimate B2B networking event that brings together industry executives and senior military leadership to honor and celebrate the Enlisted Aide of the Year and the impact of the Robert Irvine Foundation. Programming included a 3-course dining experience prepared by the Chef Robert Irvine culinary team and military chefs, live music performances and formal awards presentation. We always get photographs from several different perspectives. Example shots include: A shot of a performer or speaker on stage from the perspective of the audience, wide shots from each corner of a banquet hall, convention center, etc, an exterior shot of a venue or a wide shot of the floor of a convention center from a floor from above.

Detail shots we capture include: venue details, event signage, food, and more.

CLOSE-UP CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY AT CORPORATE EVENTS
Close-up candid photographs of individuals capture the emotional high points of an event. They can be photographed in a variety of ways, but usually with a telephoto lens and a shallow depth of field. This minimizes distracting elements and allows a viewer to zero in on, and connect with a moment. These are often the images viewers connect with most. we pay special attention to photographing your VIPs such as guest speakers or your CEO, but as always, we work to maximize coverage of an event; we try to get a photo of as many attendees as possible.
GROUP PORTRAITS AT CORPORATE EVENTS
As a roaming event photographer, anytime we see a small group conversing, we are sure to approach them with a smile and simply ask, “hey can we get a shot of you guys?” These shots allow us to be sure to get all of your VIPs in photographs together and help me maximize coverage, making sure to photograph as many attendees as possible. These are often the types of photos guests at corporate events like to share.

Here are some highlights from an event I photographed on the rooftop event space at the Spy Museum for NSBWEP. On September 10, 2025, NSWEP celebrated five years of resilience, innovation, and the unwavering power of community as The National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals marked their milestone with a nationwide celebration like never before! For five years, NSBWEP uplifted, empowered, and redefined excellence in the wedding and event industry. Located adjacent to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), it's a famous spot for watching planes land and take off due to its unique proximity to the airport's runway. Visitors also enjoy the park for picnics, biking on the Mount Vernon Trail, and waterfront views of the Potomac River and the Washington, D.C. skyline.
Roosevelt Island

Every photograph we make is about something; whether that be an emotion, reaction, or an interaction, I believe there should be meaning behind every photograph. Establishing shots to give a sense of space and more importantly the scale of a corporate event. They can also be a great way to highlight your premiere DC venue. These are great for social media posts or documentation.
We always get photographs from several different perspectives. Example shots include: A shot of a performer or speaker on stage from the perspective of the audience, wide shots from each corner of a banquet hall, convention center, etc, an exterior shot of a venue or a wide shot of the floor of a convention center from a floor from above.

Close-up candid photographs of individuals capture the emotional high points of an event. They can be photographed in a variety of ways, but usually with a telephoto lens and a shallow depth of field. This minimizes distracting elements and allows a viewer to zero in on, and connect with a moment. These are often the images viewers connect with most. we pay special attention to photographing your VIPs such as guest speakers or your CEO, but as always, we work to maximize coverage of an event; we try to get a photo of as many attendees as possible.
GROUP PORTRAITS AT CORPORATE EVENTS
As a roaming event photographer, anytime we see a small group conversing, we are sure to approach them with a smile and simply ask, “hey can we get a shot of you guys?” These shots allow us to be sure to get all of your VIPs in photographs together and help me maximize coverage, making sure to photograph as many attendees as possible.
