The MGM Music Hall open in Boston near Fenway Park in August 2022 as a music and event venue! MGM Music Hall is located at 2 Lansdowne Street (at the corner of Lansdowne & Ipswich Streets), Boston, MA 02215. The venue is positioned as a mid-sized major venue: larger than smaller clubs (2,000-3,000 capacity) but smaller than full arenas. That allows for high-profile acts in a more intimate setting and can be rented for more corporate events. The opening of MGM Music Hall at Fenway is part of a broader revitalization of Boston’s live-music infrastructure: adding more high-quality mid-sized venues means more acts, better options for locals.

For this event in Boston: State Street Investment Management, the fourth largest asset manager in the world, had the vision to reshape investing more than 30 years ago—to believe it was possible for anyone to access the power of the market in a single trade. That belief led to the launch of SPY, the first-ever S&P 500 ETF. Since then, their mission has gone beyond just making investing accessible to anyone. (State Street | SPY) entered into a multi-year partnership with the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

For their announcement with their WNBA partnership, State Street hosted the ultimate WNBA Finals celebration in Boston as the league’s newest Partner. The festivities will highlighted State Street’s commitment to investing in women’s basketball at every level of play. The event will drove community building and youth engagement, WNBA
partnership awareness and highlighted the city’s love of basketball.

Convene Brookfield Place is at 225 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10281, inside the larger complex Brookfield Place in the Financial District in Manhattan. I photographed a 2 day conference for the Open Source in France Forum in NYC at Convene. This venue in Manhattan offers 73,000 sq ft of flexible meeting/event space. The full venue can accommodate events and conference for slightly over 1,500 guest just a block away from the World Trade Center!

The Open Source in Finance Forum (OSFF) is the premier event bringing together leaders and technologists across financial services and the open-source ecosystem. The conference is uniquely designed to enable partnerships, advance talent development and showcase open  technologies enabling the financial industry to scale, modernize, and enhance profitability.

Below are some highlights from a 2-day business forum at the Javits Center in NYC. Since 2004, the World Business Forum New York has brought together thousands of senior executives from across the globe to learn directly from the world’s most influential business thinkers. The venue is one of the busiest convention centers in the U.S. and plays a major role in New York’s convention/trade show economy. The Javits Center is located on Manhattan’s West Side at 429 11th Avenue (also referenced as 655 West 34th Street) between 34th and 38th (–40th) Streets in the Hell’s Kitchen / Hudson Yards area of New York City. The Javits Center hosts a wide variety of events including trade shows, pop-culture conventions, large exhibitions, corporate meetings, and conferences.

As an experienced NYC event photographer, my team’s priority has always been capturing moments of an event that both tell a story and evoke a feeling. Every photograph we make is about something; whether that be an emotion, reaction, or an interaction, I believe there should be meaning behind every photograph. Here are a few images we photographed at the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City!

ESTABLISHING SHOTS AT CORPORATE EVENTS

Establishing shots to give a sense of space and more importantly the scale of a corporate event. They can also be a great way to highlight your premiere NYC venue. These are great for social media posts or documentation.

We can get photographs from several different perspectives. Example shots include: A shot of a performer or speaker on stage from the perspective of the audience, wide shots from each corner of a banquet hall, convention center, etc, an exterior shot of a venue or a wide shot of the floor of a convention center from a floor from above.

DETAIL SHOTS AT CORPORATE EVENTS

Detail shots we capture include: venue details, event signage, food, and more.

Details matter at a corporate event. We know organizers put in a lot of work to produce an event of any size with many details to show for it. As always, when photographing an event, we photography with the end use in mind. we are there to get the types of images that you are looking for.

CLOSE-UP CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY AT CORPORATE EVENTS

Close-up candid photographs of individuals capture the emotional high points of an event. They can be photographed in a variety of ways, but usually with a telephoto lens and a shallow depth of field. This minimizes distracting elements and allows a viewer to zero in on, and connect with a moment. These are often the images viewers connect with most. we pay special attention to photographing your VIPs such as guest speakers or your CEO, but as always, we work to maximize coverage of an event; we try to get a photo of as many attendees as possible.

GROUP PORTRAITS AT CORPORATE EVENTS

As a roaming event photographer, anytime we see a small group conversing, we are sure to approach them with a smile and simply ask, “hey can we get a shot of you guys?” These shots allow us to be sure to get all of your VIPs in photographs together and help me maximize coverage, making sure to photograph as many attendees as possible. These are often the types of photos guests at corporate events like to share.

For New Year’s Eve 2025 I photographed an event with 700 guest in NYC on the Hornblower Yacht! The yacht departed from Pier 15 in Manhattan and cruising along the water near the Statue of Liberty for the midnight countdown with a view of the fireworks! The yacht had views of the Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and fireworks celebration for guest to enjoy. The Hornblower Infinity Yacht can host events for up to 1,000 guest on multiple decks. View more from this NYC event below:
