Washington, DC has many great monument and memorial locations to plan your engagement photos or a surprise proposal! This surprise proposal was inside the Jefferson Memorial and in between the columns! After the proposal moment, the couple got additional photos around the monument and in front of the Tidal Basin! The Jefferson Memorial is also a popular spot when the cherry blossoms reach peak bloom in the surrounding area around March/April every year! Consider going early in the morning to avoid the peak tourist times!
