I use a Capital One Credit Card for all my business expenses when running my event photography and photo booth business in DC:

I photographed this wedding at the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant right next to George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia! The restaurant can be rented to host weddings and other private events! Ceremonies at the Mount Vernon Inn can take place at their sunken garden, surrounded by an elegant brick and slate outdoor courtyard that accommodates up to 160 seats. A staircase leads your guests into the garden from the Verandah Dining Room. The Sunken Garden can be rented with an event in the Verandah Room or with the entire restaurant. Washington DC Conference Photographer - Gaylord National Convention Center
Recently we provided photography for a 3 day conference near Washington DC at the Gaylord National Convention Center! The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is a hotel and convention center located at National Harbor, Prince George's County, in Maryland right outside of DC. The hotel is situated along the shores of the Potomac, downriver from Washington, D.C. The Gaylord National has over 545,000 sq. ft. of flexible convention, meeting, exhibition and pre-function space that can be used for events.

DC Nonprofit Event Photographer - Event at The Rayburn House Office Building
I photographed this event for a non-profit organization at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington DC! The event had speakers and a panel discussion. I provided images to the client of speakers in action, attendees interacting, and group shots of important guest. Images were used by the organization for social media and email blast use after I provided edited images to the client same day.

Recently I returned to the White House with members of the press to watch President Biden as he returned from a trip in Marine One. I photographed the President landing on the White House lawn and walking to the Oval Office! Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is one of the popular locations for engagement photos in Northern Virginia! The gardens provides plenty of options for beatiful backdrops for photos with water, plants, bridges, and flowers!
Meadowlark does require an admission fee and restoration to schedule a professional photography session. Here is text form their website:

Washington, DC Self Officiated Wedding Ceremony at Lafayette Park
A self-uniting marriage is where couples are married without the presence of a third party officiant. Only a few states in the US offer this option. Washington, DC is one of the few places where you can self officiate your wedding ceremony! I met this couple at the Hay Adams while they were visiting DC to photograph a few portraits on the rooftop with the view of the White House, Washington Monument, and Jefferson Memorial. After some wedding portraits at the Hay Adams we walked over to Lafayette Park in front of the White House for their self-uniting ceremony!
